Dandelion Wine.  Shimmers of platinum-green, and a flash of deepest jade-- these are the colors playing inside this exceptional pear-shaped beauty. Oregon Sunstone is new to many gem-shoppers. It's exceptional for two reasons. First, it's dichroic, displaying dual colors at once. And, it produces what's called the schiller effect, an intense interior sparkle formed by light reflecting off tiny mineral platelets inside the stone. This especially effervescent example reminds us of a drop of spring rain on a new leaf.
