Green Giant.
The deep, true green of the forest's deepest heart, Tsavorite is named for Tsavo East National Park in Kenya, located near where the gem was first discovered. A relative newcomer to the market, Tsavorite was first offered to gem-lovers in the 1970s. It is the rarest and most precious of all Garnets, and we are thrilled to offer it as the basis for a piece of high jewelry. It's a 7 on the Mohs Hardness Scale, making it suitable for a special ring, priced more affordably than the look-alike Emerald. Call us for your free design consultation!
